Hi Lesley, That's a very generous offer. I hope you aren't overwhelmed with requests! If it is possible, I would like a couple of photos from the area which I can publish on my web site, please. One is of the parish church at Guilsfield, where several generations of my ancestors lived back in the 1500s, and the other is of the Pillar of Eliseg, which is just outside Llangollen. Eliseg, according to what seems good evidence I have, was an even earlier ancestor in the same line, and the pillar commemorates his victory in a battle against the invading Saxons. I've been extremely lucky with that particular line, unlike some that I haven't progressed beyond the 19th century (despite working on it on and off since 1976).
