    3. Greetings from Toronto, Re my comment about "Trojan attached". Opened e mail from Tom Evans, same address as below. Immediately a Trojan warning appeared. Apologies for misusing the term "attached". As previously, the e-mail's subject line was "[Powys] (no subject)", and it contained no message other than a hyperlink to a suspicious website. On this occasion, the message appears to have originated from Tom Evans <tomevans11@yahoo.com> - a bona fide member of the List - but without his knowledge. Please DELETE all such messages as soon as you spot them. DO NOT them, and DO NOT click on the links they contain. I report each incidence to RootsWeb as it arrives. Previous experience shows that these spam attacks do not last very long, and the messages are harmless if you do not click on the links they contain. If he does a search for "House call" from Trend Micro. It is a web virus scanner and is independent of anything. It is great I have used many times on my PC and others and it's free. Because it is web based it doesn't install or save on your PC (only a small start program) and you always get the latest version. ------------------- Free Online Virus Scan - Antivirus Software - /HouseCall/ <http://housecall.trendmicro.com/au/index.html> *housecall*.trendmicro.com/au/index.html - United States /HouseCall/ is a free virus scanner offered by Trend Micro, which checks whether a computer has been infected by viruses, spyware, or other malware. /HouseCall/ *... ---------------------- *Good Luck Tom.
