Hi, I have a problem in that I have family in Australia who says their mother was Sarah Llewelyn and their father Thomas Davies shoemaker. This is on one marriage cert and two death certificates from Victoria Australia. These are very detailed death and marriage certs When my Elizabeth Thomas dau of Thomas Davies immigrated to Australia she had her mother down as Mary. They are all brother and sisters not doubt of that. I have just been looking at FMP at the Welsh records ( yes I finally learned how to do it. Helps if you go to the right web site instead of Ancestry:-) I I think I have found a birth/baptism that corresponds with what one of the daus Ann Williams nee Davies said where she was born on the 1851 census. I did find a birth of Anne Davies at Aberedow Radnorshire 11th Jan 1818 with parents Thomas Davies shoemaker and wife Mary Now I am in a dilemma. Is this birth correct or does what all the rest of the same family make it Sarah Llewelyn correct. Any suggestions welcome. It appears that my relation Elizabeth davies born 1823 at Blaina Monmouthshire was not recorded and nor any other siblings were likewise baptised Many thanks Cheers Marilyn from Western Australia
