    3. Hi David I think there is a difference between the recent claim that Breconshire, etc. parish records have been added to findmypast's database and the existing, say, census records. In respect of census records I can definitely say that I've found entries through the findmypast transcriptions, which have not shown up via Ancestry or (in the case of the 1881 Census) the FamilySearch website. So, findmypast has a valuable part to play in family history research. I'm wondering whether there is some technical error at present which has resulted with anticipated entries, that are known to exist in parish records, not currently showing up? You can search for individuals without putting in any county or parish/place information and, certainly as far as my own research goes, this still doesn't produce the anticipated results.
