Hi Allen, Good point. Many junk email links look like that. My point is that if very pertinent and on-topic text is found surrounds the link, one should be able to trust the link. In this case: "Many Welsh PRs have just been added on-line... See the lists for coverage, though note there may be some gaps in the years... *Glascwm & Colfa* are both on there." Many popular websites these days have shortcut link sites: bit.ly (very popular shortcut site), tidd.ly (Twitter short cut site, I believe), goo.gl (Google short cut site), etc. People should certainly not have to know all of these short-cut sites, so examining the text around them is important. Hi Steve I agree that examining the text can help but some spammers duplicate legitimate data. Most spammers though are illiterate and can't string two words together, that alone a sentience.
