Ann. 15:42 Subject: [POWYS] Message from Admin: News of a new Family History Website Dear Listers, Like the Administrators of many RootsWeb mailing lists, I have been sent details of a new family history website together with a request to draw it to the  attention of List members. The website, at www.onlinefamilynetwork.org, was launched on 22 November. Its homepage gives an outline of the purpose of the site. By all means explore the website for yourselves, but please note that it appears to focus heavily on US genealogy. None of its 'Resources' relate to Wales, to Britain, or even to Europe. As with all such website, please think hard and long before uploading any of your GEDCOM files onto the website. If you do decide to upload a GEDCOM file, make sure you do not include any data on living persons. When I explored the site this morning, I failed to find any 'Terms and Conditions' or details of the ownership of the site. Personally, I do not think that in it present state, the website has anything to offer those of us researching Welsh ancestry.
