I can, however, offer the following: Robert Powell's brother, Ambrose Powell, was quite prominent in Culpeper, and was a member of Dr. Thomas Walker's exploratory expedition into Kentucky in 1750. His g-grandson (through his daughter, Ann Powell Hill) was Confederate general Ambrose Powell Hill. Ambrose's eldest son, Major Robert Powell, served in the Revolution and afterwards settled in Kentucky, near Columbia. He was an original (founding) member of the Society of the Cincinnati, and married Ann West. I'm in the process of remarking the grave of Ann West and Robert Powell (my g4 grandparents) in Danville, Kentucky, and we hope to have an appropriate ceremony at a family get together this summer.
