Hannah Powell knows more about this than I. She's the expert on this Powell line. ken Collier On Wed, Nov 28, 2012 at 7:59 PM, Kenneth Collier <uurevken@gmail.com> wrote: > I don't know the haplogroup because my Powell connection is through my > mother, but her grandfather was named Lewis Thronton Powell, named for his > uncle, the Lewis Thornton Powell who stabbed Seward. Greetings all ... ? George Powell (1695-1736) had four sons ... Cader, Moses, Lewis, and George.? Cader was my g7-granfather.? I believe that Hannah Powell is a descendent of Moses Powell, and Sharon Tate Powell is from one of the brothers as well.? Lewis Thornton Powell (alias Payne) is also downline from one of the brothers. ?
