Dave (kit 100829) descends from Robert, b 1508, Suffolk, England and his wife, Johane Dobson.. His descendant, Thomas Powell, b 1616 New Haven, Conn and Priscilla Whitson, eventually descended down to Col John Powell, of Lanesboro, Mass, and was in the Amrican Revolution. Now, we do know some of the older family was in NY, just not out later line. I don't have their names. Thank you for sharing the link.
