Jim Barrett and other Powell Researchers, Is there something not working at ancestry.rootsweb.com or does my ISP out of Nacogdoches, Texas, have too tight a filter on my accounts??? Has my domain name or my ISP been black/white listed???Or is it some other problem??? I am subscribed to about 30-40 surname and county lists. I have not gotten any postings from any list in over 24 hours. Usually/normally I get anywhere on average 15-25 messages a day when things seem to be working correctly. I have had these problems in the past and have never gotten much of an answer on to get it corrected. I get maybe "dribbles" of messages for several days' time. Then they start up again as straingly as they stopped coming. Any ideas out there? My Powell lines goes back to Stafford County, Virginia, where William Powell and Amey _?_ have the death of a son, age, unknown recorded in the parish register c. 1715. A surviving daughter, Amey Powell, married Anthony Buckner Thomas c. 1755 also recorded in the St Paul's Parish Register. He dies with a will in 1780 in Halifax County, Virginia, survived by Amey Powell Buckner. Winnie Edmonds, adaughter is left goose feathers in his will. Any ideas here on the origins of my William Powell line or why I am not getting messages from Rootsweb.com e-mail lists to which I am subscribed. Will see if this come back to me on the list.
