For those of you that have never seen the books we are talking about, it is a 2 volume set, Volume One is the Powell line, and Volume 2 is his wife's line. Each one is about 4 inches thick. The Powell line starts with Thomas Powell of Isle of wight, Va. It follows his line through North Carolina and into Ga. Very well documented. The books are not published anymore and are available in a few libraries throughout the south. Several in Ga and one set here in the the public Library here in Jacksonville, fl. The set I got took me years and big $ to obtain. If you are in the gold group I am sure you are in this line (I am VA-5).
