To gain full benefit from DNA testing, it is optimal to be able to participate in a surname project that provides information and results from as many "Powells" or other surnames as we can gather. That is the only way that you can keep updated on new people who match you on a regular basis without having to do a considerable amount of digging on your own. Jim's willingness to also post results from Powells who have tested with other labs, not just our own FTDNA, makes this website especially useful. I know the time and effort that go into maintaining a website, and greatly appreciate Jim for his efforts. Rather than lamenting on what is not, be eternally grateful for what is. I agree with Barbara I hope the person who wants to be removed from the project will reconsider. We are like a family we agree and disagree but we need to stick together. Nancy Today I was asked to remove all data for a kit from our website.
