I am in the gold group kit # 95503. Does anyone think it would be helpful to know where gold group members live- not address but town-although I have no problem sharing my address which is 12905 SW 116 Court, Miami, Florida.Phone # 305-232-0442?I was suprised to gather from a?few e-mails about our site that indicate a number of members live in Florida.We could be?in the same area and not know it. I have my direct line traced back to 1790 Columbia County, Ga?and of course we all seem to share the Virginia ancestors. My problem is connecting the Virginia Powells with the ones in 1790 Georgia. I believe there is a connection with Mecklenburg, NC based on a land sale in 1800 Georgia; however, I have been unable to find what the connection is. I am also in the Gold Group #8586. I live in Waldo, FL, but my Powell line only came here in the 1950s. They were from Evansville, Indiana by way of Webster/Hopkins/Henderson Counties in Kentucky via Logan County, Kentucky from North Carolina.
