    3. Hi~ I have not gotten into the dna aspect of this site. I know with the surname and dna most if not all of you guys. :) I have had a hard time, as mentioned, actually finding who is who..etc. My Grandfather's name was Hanford, born in Stigler, Oklahoma around the 1920. His father's name was Jimmy, AKA Jimmie, AKA James. His father my great-great grandfather's name was Thomas. My family runs around from Florida to SC, GA, Oklahoma, AK. They were natives--my grandfather moved to CA in the 1940s, said he was white and shaved his head. And passed himswelf off as white--except when he went back to OK, or reservations.. because he spoke both Cherokee and Seminole fluently. There are lot of issues with who is who--remarriages, death, children from previous marriages..etc. Does this help? I'll look up my kit # and go back to the site and see if we match, :) Jessica. > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Sat, 6 Dec 2008 10:35:07 -0800 > Subject: Re: [POWELL-DNA] Our Website > > Jessica > This sounds like my family also.
