Our website has been updated. I have changed the Haplogroups to agree with the 2008 Y-Haplogroup Tree by taking the values from your myFTDNA Haplogroup page. PLEASE!!!! Go to your myFTDNA website and click on the Haplogroup link to verify that I have the correct value for you. If I have made a mistake PLEASE e-mail me at [email protected] to let me know. While you are at you myFTDNA Haplogroup look at the options you have for ordering Haplogroup test. It may say you can order a "Backbone SNP test" or "Deep Clade test" if you haven't ordered a SNP test before. If you have already ordered a "Backbone SNP test" it may say you can order a "Deep Clade test". I saw at least one person who had already received their results from the "Deep Clade test" and they were offered a chance to order an update as new sub-clades have been added to their group. Even though you have ordered the deepest test they currently offer new SNPs may be found that would suggest the need for additional testing. Remember, we are on the leading edge of a new field in science. Things change. Is your Haplogroup, on our website, shaded in red or green? If you haven't had a SNP test it be RED.
