Same here. We've located cousins 7 and 8 generations removed and have verified by records that common ancestor, thanks to the DNA leads given us on this site with 1-67 matches. So far it seems each one descended from a different son of that first Thomas Powell from Wales who came to Long Island about 1652 when he was 11 (this is from recall). Can you imagine the decades and decades of work it would have taken to track down these cousins if it weren't for the work you had done on this site? And four of the cousins have met and enjoyed time together and with their families. Thank you for all your dedication in keeping this site updated and so sophisticated and educational.
