Pat, Is there another Powell group? I have submitted two more Powell's for YDNA test but their report's won't come to this site. I will compare them when they come back. Hi Hannah, If you are great at organizing and have LOTS of extra time you could set up a website where all of the DNA information could be displayed as you think it should be. I think the site Jim provides as a VOLUNTEER administrator is so much better than many of the other Y-dna Surname Projects at FTDNA. The coloring of the connected members, family lines attached to the kit#'s, the inidcations of the odd markers, all of this takes time for a project this large. I believe that the thing Hannah was wanting to be able to see was the results of all of the Powell DNA testing from ALL of the different companies in one place and I think that would be a wonderful idea. One of the problems, as I have point out before, is that all of the companies don't report the same markers. In most cases where they are reporting the same markers they report them in the same way but there are a few cases where they don't. Why? I don't know. Maybe it is like some people use the meteric system for measurement while others use the English system. FTDNA tries to use Internationally accepted methods. When those standards change FTDNA changes. We saw that this year when our Haplogroup K members became Haplogroup T. At the same time we saw several other changes in which sub-clade some members belonged to.
