There is a family out of the Powell Book that sure does have a great deal of names with dates of birth the same or similar to quite a few people you show on this list. Josiah Powell, had a son Oliver that wound up in Walker County, Texas James Powell There is a James M. Powell, born in Pendleton, SC or so he said that wound up in Walker County, TX There is a Green Powell, that I tracked a while back that came to Smith County, Texas. He had kids all over the South and seemed to fit the above family. Allen Powell Did not spend a great deal of time, but has anyone checked this family line against all of the above and below people. The Powell Book did not have DNA and thus has some errors.
