Ron, This may be a shot in the dark but here goes. The kit #111772 is listed as AL-8 however the Powell we are researching goes to SC. The shot in the dark is that we know from the 1850 census and later that our ggrandfather came from SC, however, we have no name or location for the gggrandfather, who is listed as coming from Ireland and marries a woman from VA. We believe that they settled somewhere in the Piedmont area. That is it.
