There was a Mary Powell, daughter of Joab Powell and Anna Beeler. Mary married a Stephen Davidson, December 1852 in Linn County, Oregon. I don't have any information on Stephen. Stephen and Mary had a son Stephen Hill Davidson who married a Callie Powell. Callie was the daughter of Abraham T Powell and Amanda Curl. Abraham was a brother to Mary Powell. Lora X Powell married John H Davidson. I have no information on John. Lora X Powell was the daughter of Abraham T Powell and Eveline Terry. (Abraham T Powell had 4 wives). This is a long shot:  I have a Kyle Nye married to a Nancy Powell. Nancy is the daughter of Willard Lloyd Powell, the 2nd Great-Grandson of Joab Powell and Anna Beeler. Kyle Nye's mother was Lillie Ethel Kyle, his father Arthur Nye.
