Have any of you doing Powell research looked at the Leonardo Andrea files at the South Caroliniana Library in Columbia, SC? http://www.andreafiles.com/   If you check the surname index you'll see that Powell is included.  "Mr. Andrea was a professional genealogist, so his letters to and from his clients are shown in his account of research for that family. He includes some wills, deeds, and grants of land to prove his points. You will find about everything that he collected to come to his conclusions for any particular client."   LDS has a copy of his research on microfilm, including his Powell research he did for a group of three people in 1962 (?) - Carl L. Duaine of Corpus Christi, Texas, Bruce C. Powell of Fair Bluff, North Carolina and Mrs. Henry W.
