My POWELL line also begins with HOWELL aka AP HOWELL who immigrated thru Boston to Watertown (Middlesex Cty), MA abt 1819, b 1/1/1783 in Brechnockshire, Wales, d 12/8/1857 in Northville (La Salle Cty), IL. HOWELL and MARY ANN RICHARDS, b abt 1785 in England, d 4/26/854 in Northville, were married abt 1803 in England; their children, JANETT (JANE), MARY ANN, ELEYZA, MARTHA and WILLIAM HENRY, SR. were born in Wales. ELIZA and JAMES T. were born in Watertown. The family moved to LaSalle Cty, IL by covered wagon in 1837. I have never found one other researcher on this site working on this line; isn't that strange?
