Hi Arthur, I'm not a researcher of the Richard POWELL (d. 1744) line. Two problems I have with what you posted are: 1. I have seen no evidence that Thomas POWELL, Sr. b. Bef 1629 is in any way related to William, son of Howell. I've seen a lot of speculation and supposition though. 2. I have seen no evidence that the wife of Thomas Jr. was a Gibson. I've seen her mother's name listed as Elizabeth Gibson, dau. of William Gibson. Unless she married another Gibson, or had Thomas out of wedlock, this would not be true. --Keith
