It has been awhile since I have posted a query regarding my Powell ancestor, Almond or Almon Powell of Pickens Co., SC. Almond is located on the 1850 Census of Pickens Co., SC FM# 575. Living in the household is his wife Elizabeth (Gordon) and Children Asa, Robert and Thomas. They are living next door to their daughter Mary Broom(e), wife of Burrell Broom(e) and their family. Almond and Elizabeth had two additional daughters, Caroline who was married to Joseph McIntire and Sarah married to DiWitt Cantwell.
