Is anyone on this list connected to the John Powell who died in Elizabeth City Co Va in 1740/41? I would like some help understanding the account of his estate that continued to December 3, 1747...showing this item..."To balance due from the estate of ROBERT PHILIPSON, who was administrator of the estate of THOMAS POWELL, deceased." Can anyone identify this Thomas Powell that is referenced and this Robert Philipson that is referenced? Has anyone seen this accounting of John Powell's? A Robert Philipson aka Dr. Robert Philipson died in 1745 with a will in York County along with an inventory. This Philipson was to have married a Powell widow, thought to be Mary Powell widow of Thomas dec. in York in 1739 probate, will 1735. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Mary Jean Zimmerman
