I am distantly related to John Wesley Powell, who is from the line fron Brecon and Castle Madoc just north of Brecon. Here is a website about JWP which displays the crest with 4 ravens around a black cross and a boar I think. http://jwpowell.org/history/index.htm. The other crest has a black and white lion.
