My Powell's come from SC and NC. Most recently the Transylvania, NC area. The farthest back is Abraham Powell b. 1822 SC and d. 1893 NC. His parents may have been Joseph and Elizabeth. I can't seem to get past them, though. Abraham married Millie Ann Patterson, who moved to Wa state after Abraham's death. They also had a son named John Powell and many more children- Bonnie in Oregon
