John G Powell ( circa 1760 Virginia) had a son named Hezekiah whose children came to Texas from McNairy county Tennessee and lived in and around Walker County, Texas. Hezekiah's brother William R. Powell was also in that area, and he had a son named Hezekiah who was born in 1850. My records don't show descendants of this younger Hezekiah, but I bet this is your family.
