I have an Andrew Jackson Powell who was born about 1844 and who married a Mary Boutwell in MS, but they came from GA Sam Powell

He may be related, but AJ's son, John was also born in 1844 in Tennessee. They went from there to Caldwell County, Kentucky. Seems like all the folks in my line that went to Caldwell County became dead ends for their history! Maybe it was just a coincidence.
