Dodge, Webster County Iowa. The Father, Andrew Jackson Powell Jr. was heard to have been a considerable land owner in the area. I'm not sure how to confirm this as I am in Oklahoma. The surviving child was Charles John Powell, My G-Grandfather. The children were murdered by their mother, Nellie B. (Kiler) Powell. I located her in the Cherokee County State Hospital on the 1910 Census in Iowa, and Andrew (Jack) had moved to Cerro Gordo County Iowa. Both Nellie and Jack were from Mclean County Illinois where jack is buried. Nellie died in an institution in Eau Claire Wisconsin.
