Author: krazykidz1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.powell/6672/mb.ashx Message Board Post: hi all, this is a long shot, but someone on this site might have information helpful in identifying a man with amnesia in georgia. he has been unable to find out who is in the last 5 years since he was discovered in savannah, ga after a horrible beating. he has given himself the name of benjaman kyle and has a wiki entry on the internet. he was featured on dr. phil last year and is currently the subject of a documentary to be released next year. dna testing has found 37 markers (i don't know the exact science) matching joseph powell families of the midwest. benjaman has "memories" of growing up in indianapolis and attending a catholic highschool. he has clear memories of denver and boulder, colorado in the 70s and possibly early 80s. he has extensive knowledge of restaurants, the equipment, the layout, and the business practices of many restaurants. he describes most memories in relation to restaurants. he is very well read and educated and has grown his own vegetable garden in savannah. he has a dry sense of humor and crinkly eyes when he laughs. this is such a tragedy because he cannot work without a social security number and they will not issue another to him. please look at the benjaman kyle wiki entry for reference. he also has a facebook fan page that anyone can join and peruse. thank you all!!!!!
