Your response was great; I read the Rockvale website and saw the picture of the Joseph Powell family. I shared it with my children as well. I have many stories about Effie as she was my beloved grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and shared some of her best recipes (my favorites) with my wife, Sue. She would never do that with my mother as there was a tense relationship. She was a dynamic and strong willed woman.
