Hi Listers, I compliment U.S branches of the Powell for all the work they have done. What has happened to the researchers here in Wales searching for their Powell ancestors. My grandmother was a Powell living here in North Breconshire. there was always a myth that went around the family that they were connected to the Powells of Castle Madoc which is situated some fifteen miles away. I am hoping either to prove or disprove this myth once and for all time! Anyone prepared to help? I see that Ian Moseley has placed a message on your list. He lives just down the road in Hay-on-Wye.
