    2. Katie I am not sure who this Lucas is, but are you talking about the "Powells" of Jamestown, etc? I have read about them I don't know if my line goes there or not. My big secret is...well...RELIGION...most of my side are Seventh Day Adventists. Which is fine if that is what you want. But my mother was raised Old Regular Baptist, from West Virginia, and they don't mix. So when push came to shove after 20+ years after putting the 3 of us girls through heck on earth, they decide to get a divorce, and by this time we had already spent most of our life in church schools and all. And anyhow when we moved from Wisconsin to Arkansas in 1981 and I decided that I wanted to be "normal" and go to public school that is when my grandfather decided to disown my family. Hey I live in Virginia also. If you want to visit of the mailing list my address is eaglesnest3@wiredog.com just contact me direct. 3. "The Powell Families of Virginia and the South" by Rev. Lucas, published by the Southern Historical Press. It has a great deal about the early Virginia counties and some from NC and Georgia (info from my memory). My line went from VA to NC to TN; others to SC and Georgia. eaglesnest3@wiredog.com wrote: > Katie > I am not sure who this Lucas is, but are you talking about the "Powells" > of Jamestown, etc?
