I have a Edward (Edd) Layfayette Powell born Jan 30 1866 in Franklin, NC. married to Harriett *(Hattie) Vanlandingham Riggan born Nov 15, 1869 Vance Co. NC (both buried New Hope Cemetery in NC) -3 children: (not in order) Thomas Jackson Powell born May 17, 1898 Wise Co. NC (my great grandfather married to Lula Bettie Allen of Norlina, NC) Mary Powell married ?? Watkins of NC Charlie ? Powell married Lola Lovett of GA Hopefully someone will recognize a name although it seems as though the tree branches do not branch out too much! Not one listing in the Powells of VA and the south.
