I can add to Samuel POWELL who md Elizabeth ALKIRE. (He was son of my ancestor Samuel POWELL by his first wife, Sarah RANDALL. I descend from #2 Phoebe Catharine YASEL or YSSELSTINE.) First Generation 1. Samuel POWELL was born on 20 Oct 1787 in Hardy Co, VA (now WV). He died on 14 Jul 1834 in Petersberg, Sangamon Co, IL. Samuel married Elizabeth ALKIRE, daughter of Rev John ALKIRE and Susan or Susannah NEFF or NATION on 25 Sep 1809 in Franklin Co, OH. Elizabeth was born in 1798, prob in VA. She died in 1855. Second Generation 2. Samuel POWELL was born on 9 Sep 1755/1760 in Hampshire Co, VA (now WV). He died on 3 Oct 1823 in Urbana twp, Champaign Co, OH. He married #1 Sarah RANDALL on 3 Jul 1783 in VA. 3. Sarah RANDALL was born on 7 Sep 1764 prob in Hampshire Co, VA (now WV). She died on 10 Nov 1787 prob in Hampshire Co or Hardy Co, VA (now WV). Third Generation 4. Joseph POWELL was born about 1730. He died in Nov 1771 in w pr in Hampshire Co, Va (now Wv). He married Christina or Christen FRY about 1752/1753 prob in Frederick Co, Va. 5. Christina or Christen FRY was born in 1733 prob in Perkiomen Creek, Philadelphia (now Montgomery) Co, PA. She died after 1770 prob in VA. 6. Abel RANDALL was born on 21 Feb 1728/1732 in Woodbury, Gloucester Co, NJ. He died on 3 Jul 1791 in Hardy Co, VA (now WV). He married Catherine RENNICK on 20 Jul 1756. 7. Catherine RENNICK was born about 1742 in Paxtang Co, PA. She died on 3 Jul 1791 in Hardy Co, VA (now WV). Fourth Generation 10. Benjamin FRYE was born in 1696/1703 in Germantown, , Philadelphia Co, Pa. He died in Mar 1753 in Frye's Fort, Frederick Co, (now Shenandoah), VA. He married Regine Christine MERKLE or MARKLEY on 1 Jan 1719/1720 in Germantown, Philadelphia Co, PA . 11. Regine Christine MERKLE or MARKLEY was born on 20 Mar 1699 in Bonfeld, Neckarkreis, Wuerttemburg, Germany. She died in 1760 prob in KY. 12. Alexander RANDALL, Sr. was born about 1700. He died on 16 Dec 1783 in Glouchester Co, NJ. He married Sarah LONG. 13. Sarah LONG was born in Gloucester Co, NJ. She died about 1780 in Gloucester Co, Nj. 14. Thomas RENICK was born in 1705 in Coleraine, Ireland. He died in 1751 in Frederick Co, VA. He was married in 1735. Fifth Generation 20. Henrich FRYE (Jr.?) was born on 17 Jun 1663 in Altheim, , Alsace, Germany. He died in 1734 in Philadelphia Co, Pa. He was buried in Bertolet Bur Gr, Skippack, PA. He married Anna Catherine LEVERING on 26 Apr 1692 in Germantown, Philadelphia Co, PA. (There is some question about his parents) 21. Anna Catherine LEVERING was born in Mar 1676 in Mulheim, Germany. She died in 1754 in Germantown, Philadelphia Co, Pa. She was buried in Bertolet Bur Gr, Skippack, PA. 22. Abraham MERKLE was born on 1 Mar 1664 in Bonfeld, Neckarkreis, Wuertemberg, Germany. He died about 1734 in PA. He married Anna Veronica on 27 Jun 1684 in Bonfeld, Neckarkreis, Wuertemberg, Germany. 23. Anna Veronica was born about 1666. 28. George RENICK was born about 1678 in Ireland. * Note that some of these people were Moravians. Consider this lineage as clues -- there may be some errors.
