Hi Marylee This is definitely my line - lost them at my gggrandfather George Pouncey Powell married Mary Lee Jordan. Knew they came from SC. His son Allen Benjamin married Florence Edna Mashburn. Family names include a son Jasper James, an Allen Benjamin Jr. and eight others. So, we are on the same trail to SC - have a descendent of a sibling of George working too, we've been stuck - haven't done any genealogy work in almost a year but am about to get started again.
