While this list is so active, I'd like to know if any of you have ever researched Samuel POWELL, the English Moravian, who came to America in 1742 and settled near Bethlehem, PA. His wife's name was Martha, and his brother was a renown missionary named Joseph POWELL (wife was also named Martha). Most important -- Did Samuel have any children? A great deal has been written about Samuel and his brother, but I've never found much about Samuel's family. I suspect he had a son named Joseph who probably came to America as a child but I find no proof. Also, what happened to Samuel's wife? I find nothing except that she came to America with him. Ellen
