Andrew Jackson Powel was born in March of 1824. In one census, I don't remember now just which, he was born in Georgia. On the next one, he was born in Tennessee. On the 1900 Census for Caldwell County, Kentucky his place of birth is listed as North Carolina.. His daughter, Delilah Powell Nichols has her father listed as being born in "Alabamy" although her pother, lists their father as born in North Carolina. Where the heck was this man born?????? Who were his parents? Virginia in Seattle
