Jim,i agree with every thing you say but there are sites which promote the idea a DNA test as a way to find distant Ancestors.I would advise any Researcher not to rule out any Branch of a Family with a DNA Test.There are just way to many if's and's or but's involved.I won't get into the other factors you Mentioned but to us who have been doing this Genealogy thing for a long time know they are very Real and play a very important part of Genealogy.Thanks for the input,Jack Powell
