My query was for a Lemuell B. and Robert Powell who were brothers in Illinois. Lemuell was married to Phoebe (Phebe) UNKNOWN and served in the 77th Volunteer Infantry of Illinois. Lemuell died while serving of pneumonia and his wife died a month later. A son, Alfred Levi POWELL, went to live with an uncle, Robert POWELL. Alfred later moved to Kansas. I'm looking for parents of Lemuell and Robert. Both were born in Virginia, Lemuell in 1826. Pearle Pruitt
