Powell listed above is my family but I still don't have "positive proof" about the Nancy Lou Mulkey marriage. Where did you get your information on that? Also, this Abraham W. Powell was married twice. I don't have my notes in front of me now but I did have a website that listed miscellaneous notes (and the source of those notes) on this Abraham W. Powell. I'm descended from his son, Miles Jean Jemison James Jefferson Aflred Ledlow Portley Powell. I think I remembered all of his full name--he was called "Duck." Rumor is that the boys did not have money for a gift so they each gave him a name. I'm not sure who the "boys" were. F.B. Crowe
