Died 22/Dec/1881 in Sevier Co., AR & is burried in Valley Cem Sevier Co AR where John Calhoun BYERS is buried. He died at age 80 yrs of influenzia. John married after she died to Katherine (Kate) Inyard & they had 8 children: Franse (Frank) Hilery b: 01/Aug1886, Thurman b: abt 1888, James (Edward) b: 22/Mar/1890, Thomas (Payne) b: 28/Feb/1893, Levona (Lee) May b: 07/Oct/1895, John b: abt 1898, Morgan b: abt 1900, Charles (Darwin) b: 22/Dec/1902.
