Hi, I have been on this Powell list for a long time. I have yet to see a Powell listed that I could connect with. My line is the John A, George, & Elisha Powell---VA, OH came to MS in 1830's. I am hanging in there because some day, some time there just might be something that will knock down my brick wall. Merry Christmas too. Ruth, my known line begans with Rev. Elisha Smith Powell b. NC in 1793. He married Rosse Murry. He died in 1866 in Fayette County Texas.
