Hi, do you know where your Powell's moved to in Ohio. My Powells were in the Monongalia/Preston County area of WV until about 1800, then moved to the Northwest Territory in Ohio (Hocking, Fairfield County), Gayle

Our POWELL line has been in Ohio for generations, and their wills, deeds, marriages etc. are recorded in Champaign Co., Ohio, where I grew up, and where many cousins still reside. They migrated first to Fayette Co., KY, but soon moved north into Ohio c 1807-1810.
