Thanks AT but I did not find that very successful. Mostly it was Gedcoms with no date of birth or information. However I have found via LVA and Ancestry..some possible Edward Powells who were "around" in 1728 when Byrd did that dividing line: 1. 1714-1720 a Edward Powell was paid for 1 wolf head in Prince George County 2. 1746 - A Edward Powell received land 730acres in Surrey(18 years later so possible) 3. In 1654 and Edward Powell was transported to this county by a John Thomas in Nasemond Co. (Perhaps a father of the 1728 Edward) But haven't found anything conclusive about who the Edward Powell was in 1728 who was on Byrd's expedition. Thanks for your suggestion tho.
