Barbara: Yes, I just found this in my book. I was thinking and hoping she was married to a Powell, but unsure of which Powell. Curious about the Ann Hill who married a Powell. Which Powell did she marry and what date? I have been trying to do some searches on William Davis as he was the executor but have yet to come up with a connection to Powell. However, the Davis family was certainly in the area of York, James City etc in the earlier 1600s. The Hill family certainly was in Warwick and York earlier as I know a Maj Hill had land near where a Seamore Powell had land..1694. And the Denman name has surfaced several times in deeds for Powells from late 1600s to mid 1700s in the York area. Any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks. William Davis, Exor.; to: Mrs Mary Cross and her daughter Ann Hill; to Lucy Hill; to Anne Dedman; to John Young; to Herrit Rochford; to Elizabeth Davis, daughter of William Davis. I see nothing to say this Hester was a man. Could it have been a wife of a Mr. Powell. He already dead. Also I have a Ann Hill that married a Powell. Could it be this Ann Hill later in life? Just a thought. Barbara
