I am new to the geneology world, and appreciate all the help or advice you can provide. I, too, am interested in this disease. Are the symptoms more than cold feet and hands? My connection to the Powell family is through Charles F. Powell, son of Lorenzo Dow Powell and Minerva. Charles was born in/around 1856, Navarro County, Texas. He married Martha Anderson (born 1859), on May 2, 1880. Their daughter, Emma Powell, is my mother-in-law's great grandmother. I am stuck on Minerva, who family history indicates is Indian. Again, any assistance is greatly welcomed.
