His name was Walter Benjamine Powell he was born 1859 in either TN,MS around Marshall Co. Holly Springs,Potts Camp. His Father was TA TJ or ja Powell he was from TN. His mother i know nothing about. He married my great grand mother Barbara Sanders from Holly Spring Ms about 1879..They live in Holly Springs, Pots Camp,Water and Evenston. They mpoved to Hot Springs area and are Burried at DeRoche Cemetery. His Father suposedly had an old obituary aroud 1900,1911,1914 it was desplayed at county court house talking about him being a Confederate soldier. Walter and Barbara children were John,Thomas Jeffeson, Claude Dean, James Danile, William Humphrey, James Allen, Effie, Mattie all born in MS.
