Prosser Powell, his son, was born ca 1774, and Nancy Powell, his daughter married James Lee on Feb 20, 1792. Elizabeth could not have been the mother of either, as Prosser would have been six years old when they married, and they had only been married 12 years when Nancy married. Could his first wife have been a Prosser? Although Elizabeth, in her will, calls Prosser her son, he may have only seemed like her son. He was in Barren Co., Ky for a short time about 1818, and evidently returned to take care of Elizabeth after Richard's death.
